BREAKOUT SESSIONS
1) 2007 Ripon College Reading Experience: M.T. Anderson's Feed
Presidents' Dining Room, S.N. Pickard Commons
Learn more about the College's summer reading program for incoming students, now in its sixth year. Join students and Ripon College Reading Experience (RCRE) advisor, Dr. Linda Clemente, Professor of French, in a discussion of this year's book, Feed; a novel as much about teenagers and their values as it is about the near future where a computer chip, the "feed," planted in our brains, renders today's computer hardware unnecessary. Anderson's future dystopia paints a compelling picture of a world dominated by technology in which teenagers try to sort out who they are. Books are available at the campus bookstore.
2) Off-Campus Study Programs
Dahm Heritage Room, S.N. Pickard Commons
Registrar and Associate Dean of Faculty, Michele Wittler, will lead a discussion with participation by students who have participated in off-campus programs. They will discuss opportunities, benefits and ways to get involved in education-enhancing study opportunities. Parent questions are especially welcomed.

3) Alumni/Parent Admission Alliance (AAA)
Mihaly Room, S.N. Pickard Commons
Admission Counselor, Stacy Klegon, discusses the ways parents can help the College's recruitment efforts by volunteering to work with the Admission Office. The AAA program provides you with the opportunity to share your enthusiasm for Ripon “one student at a time”.

1:30 p.m. PRAIRIE WORK PROJECT, CERESCO PRAIRIE CONSERVANCY
